telling the stories that traditional sports media overlooks–the personal, the complicated, the real
Hi! I’m Hope Frost, and I’ve been active since the day I was born. What began as swim lessons and bike rides with my parents grew into competitive swimming and youth triathlon, all eventually leading me to commit to run D1 cross country and track for my dream school: Duke University. While competing at Duke was a dream come true, it wasn’t without its challenges. Those hardships shaped me just as much as the victories, teaching me that growth often comes in the hardest seasons.
After graduating from Duke this past spring (2025), I’m now pursuing my master’s in Sports Journalism at the Cronkite School while using my fifth year of NCAA eligibility at Arizona State. From there, I plan to build a career in sports broadcasting and content creation — telling stories that combine athlete experience, performance analysis, and media creativity.
My mission is to use the power of storytelling to amplify the voices of athletes, capture the emotion of sport, and connect fans to the people behind the game. Through journalism, broadcasting, and creative content, I strive to bridge the gap between performance and personality, numbers and narratives.
